The Use of कर (Kar)

Namaste and Welcome Back!

कर का उपयोग

The word कर denotes do/to do/having done something.

In Hindi, कर is used to combine two or more actions that happen subsequently, and the subject is the same in all these sentences. When we combine two or more verbs by using कर the aspect markers on the verbs are replaced by कर and only the last verb keeps its aspect and agreement markers. When multiple sentences are combined by using कर, the subject should be used just once.
